Why choose mindfulness with exercise or Pilates?
We integrate the traditional Pilates techniques with mindfulness practices to provide a transformative experience. Here’s how the combination can help you.
Body awareness: Mindfulness helps you become more aware of your body’s movement and alignment which can lead to better posture and more effective workout.
Concentration: Mindfulness can improve your concentration, which can help you perform Pilates exercises more efficiently and with greater precision.
Stress reduction: Mindful movement and breathing used in mindfulness can activate the parasympathetic nervous system (Vagus nerve), which can help calm and relax the body and mind. This can improve your mental health and boost your physical performance.
Spiritual connection: Joseph Pilates believed in the power of connecting the mind and body, which is a key component with our approach.
“Pilates is the complete coordination of the mind, body and spirit.”
Joseph Pilates
